Pink Is Stronger Than You Think

My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and a doctor from Kauvery Hospital referred us Dr. Anusha. Everybody would admit that the word CANCER surrounds with some taboo, as far as the disease is concerned. But I must tell you that the doctor gave us the assurance that the disease is curable as it was in its preliminary stages. She suggested surgery and chemotherapy (post surgery). My mother, 68, agrees to undergo chemotherapy at first. But, post first round of chemotherapy ad after its subsequent side-effects my mother refused to continue the treatment further. At this stage, it was Dr. Anusha who motivated and persuaded her to complete the cycle. Dr.Anusha went a further step and introduced us to a 75 year old breast cancer survivor, who was filled with full of life and positive energy. This positive attitude influenced my mother and subsequently after persistent persuasion from the doctor's side she agreed to continue chemotherapy sessions. Being a doctor is more about the way a patient is being treated rather than the actual medicines being prescribed!!! I just have to say two words i.e., "THANK YOU"
